Scope of Services
I Kar Exports provides:
- Export of Indian spices (chillies, turmeric, coriander, cumin, tamarind, chilli flakes).
- Export of pulses, grains, millets, and oilseeds.
- International shipping under FOB, CIF, CNF terms via sea or air.
- Custom packaging, private labeling, and bulk supply contracts.
Order Confirmation & Contracts
- All orders are confirmed through a Proforma Invoice and Sales Contract.
- Contracts specify product details, HS Code, Incoterms, price, delivery timeline, and payment terms.
- Once confirmed, contracts are binding on both parties.
Pricing & Payments
Prices are fixed once a Proforma Invoice is signed, except in cases of extraordinary freight hikes or government restrictions.
Accepted payment methods include TT, LC, DP, DA, and advance + balance terms.
Currency options: USD, EUR, GBP, CFA, INR.
Late payments may attract interest charges or shipment delays.
Example: A Senegalese buyer agreed to pay via LC at sight. Once documents were submitted, payment was credited without delay, ensuring smooth trade.
Delivery & Shipping
Standard delivery time is 15–25 days from advance/LC confirmation.
Risk transfers as per Incoterms (FOB: risk on buyer once loaded; CIF: seller bears risk till destination).
Buyers are responsible for customs clearance and duties in their country.
Quality Assurance & Inspections
Products are shipped as per sample and agreed specifications.
Buyers may request third-party inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, etc.) before loading.
If quality issues are proven, replacements or adjustments are provided in the next shipment.
Cancellations & Refunds
Orders may only be cancelled before procurement and stuffing.
After packing, cancellations may incur costs for labor, packaging, and storage.
Refunds (if applicable) are processed through the same payment channel.
Intellectual Property
Limitation of Liability
I Kar Exports is not responsible for:
- Delays caused by force majeure events (strikes, weather, port congestion, natural disasters).
- Buyer’s customs clearance issues or delays at destination.
- Losses caused by incorrect handling by third-party shipping agents once risk is transferred.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
Jurisdiction will be Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, unless mutually agreed otherwise.
Arbitration ensures faster and fair settlement.
Governing Law
All contracts are governed by:
- Indian Contract Act, 1872
- Incoterms 2020
- Applicable international trade laws
